Brows On Fleek

By now you've probably heard of people saying something along the lines of "brows on fleek", this was originally said to be started by Peaches Monroee on June 21st 2014 (marking today as the "fleek" 1 year anniversary) from a viral Vine video in which she randomly thought up the word "fleek". "On fleek" is claimed to be the new version of "On Point" (which is basically said to mean perfected) except "on fleek" is mainly used in reference to eyebrows. A few celebs are already using "fleek" in their music such as Nicki Minaj, B.o.B., and Ariana Grande to name a few. Minaj and Christina Milian also got into an arguement over Milian selling clothing stating "Pretty on Fleek" which is a lyric from Minaj's song "Feeling Myself", however Minaj did not come up with "Fleek" itself so.. yea (give credit where it's really due ladies).

With everyone's brows suddenly becoming "fleek" it has seemed to actually adopt a perfected style of its own (at least from my own point of view). With the "on fleek" style brows they are usually kept clean and sharp, fairly normal to full in size, have a nice perfected arch, are well groomed, and the inner brow tends to fade inward toward the nose. Often I have found the main product used to create these "on fleek" brows is Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (which currently retails for $18 and is available in 10 different colors). Of course you don't have to use that product to achieve "on fleek" brows.

If you're wondering who does "on fleek" brows best than below you'll find several instagram'ers (in no particular order) whose brows I feel are "on point" for this, and a few of them have YouTube channels which show you just how they do their brows...

_jessicaivone (uses Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow, brow wiz, and tinted brow gel).
